With whole body training, you
will be training every muscle group during your workouts. Here are benefits to these workouts:
Increase Recovery Rates
One of the main reasons that people don’t progress, is lack of recovery. With total body training, you are not fatiguing one particular muscle group and will be able to recover a bit faster.
Flat Tummy & Fat Lose
By training all muscle groups in one training session, it allows for less muscular fatigue. Therefore, you will be able to work that muscle group more frequently throughout the week.
You will also be able to move through circuits and supersets quickly, increasing your heart rate and calorie burn.
Saves Time
If you’re on a tight schedule, using total body workouts might be your saving grace. You’ll be able to be in and out in less than an hour, while getting in a kick butt workout. You can move quick through supersets, and you will leave the gym feeling accomplished because you were able to still hit a little bit of every muscle group.
Here is a sample Workout for you to start with:
Squats
Kettlebell Swings
Lunge with Overhead Press
Bench Press
Pull Ups
Tricep Kickback
Dumbbell Bicep Curl
Side Planks
