If you are working out to love yourself, you will not find the happiness you are looking for. So the first step before getting into any fitness program, is to find self love! Once you can look in the mirror and love what you see, then you can start up a workout routine and improve upon yourself.

Your personal choices can and will effect your longevity and quality of life. Choices such as, smoking, drinking, too much time in the sun, the stress in your life, etc. These can all cause anything from arthritis to osteoporosis, from wrinkles to dental care. Stress can be measured by how well you can handle the outcomes in your life. Find a coping mechanism that will help you deal with your stress levels. Most all forms of exercise and mediation can help you relax.


GOAL ORIENTATION


In order to maintain strong motivation during your fitness journey, establishing goals will be key. Here are a few things to remember when setting goals:

1. Your goal must be difficult, yet realistic.

2. Your goal must be well defined.

3. Your goal must be a positive statement.

4. Your goal must be sincere.

5. You goal must be written down.

6. Your goal must have a deadline.
