THE WARM UP

•Your body is a machine. Before operating, you must warn it up to perform most optimally and prevent damage.

•Warming up will help increase blood flow to provides the energy your muscles and nerves needed to initiate and control movement.

•It will lubricate the muscle to help it glide freely throughout your workout.

•Warming up will focus your attention and prepare you for the movements you’re about to perform.

•Keep the warm up exercises DYNAMIC.

THE COOL DOWN

Do NOT skip your cool down! Improve your walking style by adding an incline, increase speed by stepping faster and pumping arms harder. Your cardio can increase creativity, curb cravings, reduce stress, and boost your immune system.

Your cooldown exercises can be held in a STATIC position. Think of your cool down as a ‘restorative meditation.
